About This Spot

Welcome to Ar Mar o Café, a delightful haven nestled in the picturesque marina of Cascais, Portugal. This charming café is more than just a place to grab your morning coffee; it’s a cherished local gem that offers a perfect blend of warm hospitality, breathtaking views, and delectable treats. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, Ar Mar o Café invites you to savor the beauty of Costa do Estoril, one sip at a time.

Step inside and let the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee envelop you as you settle into a cozy seat, or better yet, snag a patio table where you can soak in the stunning views of sailboats gliding across the azure waters. The ambiance here is inviting, with a casual and cheerful atmosphere that reflects the heart of local culture. As the sun casts its golden light over the marina, you’ll see why customers like Yuliia Buturlakina can’t resist returning day after day, drawn not only by the charming service but also by the perfect pairing of coffee and the iconic pastel de nata.

Speaking of treats, prepare your taste buds for a splurge. The hot chocolate is a standout; rich and creamy, it's a guilty pleasure that warms you from the inside out, according to Iris Y, who notes that nothing beats the combination of delightful drinks and stunning views. For a light breakfast or mid-day snack, the tosta mista is a must-try. Served generously with a buttery finish, it’s perfect for sharing but so deliciously good you might want to keep it all to yourself, as Valeria Pittsford discovered. With reasonable prices, indulging in delightful dishes here won’t break the bank, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a little slice of Portuguese culinary magic.

The friendly staff at Ar Mar o Café adds to the experience, welcoming each visitor with humor and warmth, their genuine passion for hospitality evident in every interaction. Natalia praises the friendly service and the high-quality coffee, a sentiment echoed by others who rave about the café's inviting vibe. Whether you're looking to share a sweet moment with friends or escape for some quiet reflection, Ar Mar o Café provides an unforgettable backdrop.

So whether you're a coffee connoisseur, a lover of pastries, or just in need of a beautiful place to unwind, Ar Mar o Café is your go-to spot in Cascais. Don’t just take our word for it; let the enchanting views, tasty treats, and friendly faces draw you in—because sometimes, the best experiences are just a cup of coffee away.

My favourite place to have nice chill coffee and pastel de nata or a toast . Service and the view is the best combination. I am here every second or single day))

Humours owner/staff, delicious hot chocolate and fresh orange juice, nothing else beats these….except maybe for the view! Grab a patio seat if you are okay with other diners smoke nearby. We didn’t order any food items because we just had breakfast but all of them looked delicious. Very reasonably priced too!

A lovely café in the marina. We enjoyed a sweet treat and high-quality coffee. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite - the prices are very reasonable!

The tosta mista was big enough to share for breakfast with my husband. I normally do not add butter, but I opted for it to be cooked in manteiga. It was delicious. I ordered a duplo cafe and a copo de agua. The service was good and the ambiance wonderful with all the sailboats. The prices were reasonable also. It was a perfect way to start the day!

Great cafe. The best pastelaria in Cascais! And very good coffee. Nice atmosphere with locals.

Nice little cafe with wine and beer by the marina. Snacks and some pastry also available. Good place for a small break to enjoy less crowded area, very inviting next to many small shops and boat slips.

Such a nice waiters. And the coffee was got. Not to mention that he was such a chill moment to relax near the marina.
